2024 |THE STARS ON BAIKAL CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD IN IRKUTSK FROM SEPTEMBER 2 TO 18
The XIX International Music Festival "Stars on Lake Baikal" by Denis Matsuev will be held in Irkutsk from September 2 to 18. Concerts will be held at the Irkutsk Regional Musical Theater named after N. M. Zagursky and at the Irkutsk Regional Philharmonic. The founders of the festival are the Government of the Irkutsk region, the Ministry of Culture of the Irkutsk Region and the Irkutsk Regional Musical Theater named after N. M. Zagursky.
– This year's festival will be unprecedented in scale, as its duration will be 17 days and our concert venues will be very actively involved in this incredible flow of festival creative activity. There will be 25 concerts in total, which include a variety of programs: chamber, solo, with orchestra, choral, theatrical, – says Denis Matsuev, artistic director of the festival, People's Artist of Russia.
